Isn’t it hard to believe that this…

(this really is one of Jeff's sperm going into one of my eggs)
(this really is one of Jeff’s sperm going into one of Kerry’s eggs during the ICSI process)

…resulted in this…

Max and Wes – 24 weeks (14 weeks adjusted)

…just one short year later?

We are so incredibly blessed.  Maxwell Allen and Weston Skinner are our lives, our hearts…the reason we breathe.  August 4th will always be an incredibly special day for our family.

Happy Start Day, Wes & Max!!!

I’ve recovered from my 5 hours alone with them a week ago Sunday afternoon and want to see and hold them again. Babysitting Friday night doesn’t count cause they were mostly sleeping and rocking Wes back to sleep was wonderful. (Probably not so much if you do it all the time and have to get up early for work.) Anyway, miss you all and glad to see you are enjoying summer. (And keeping us well supplied with cute pictures!)

  3. They are so beautiful. I hope that I get to meet them in person sometime during a nestie function.

I love, love, love that picture of the two of them together. They will be taking pictures like that for the rest of their lives (one with an arm around the other). What a beautiful day, Kerry & Jeff! :o)

I bet you money they will be posed like that again when they are about 15 without a care in the world – I love the looks on their faces – like they are so proud of themselves!
