Together again

March 2, 2009

No more isolation (shown above) for Max!  He is back with his little brother, where he belongs, and is doing pretty well so far.  They have reduced both boys back down to the low-flow oxygen (they were on high-flow before), and Max will start getting a hypo-allergenic milk on Wednesday (I think), while Wes is pigging out, drinking 34 ml (a little over an ounce) of breast milk per feeding.

Both boys also had REAL baths today, although we didn’t get to wash Max’s hair because of that pesky IV in his head.  =(  Wes really loved his bath (you may not be able to tell from this picture with his crossed eyes and crusty look on his face), but Max…not so much.
